- Analog phone lines are tested and proven reliable. If you are looking for a basic business phone line with a variety of add-on features this is the service for you. The advantage of analog lines is that you don't have to have a T1 line to access them. They are often necessary for Faxing, Security Alarms, Fire Alarms, Postage Meters, and DSL service. - Digital T1's can be used for Internet and Phone Service. RockyNet digital voice T1's are dynamic. This means that when you are using the phone, a small portion of your T1 is being used for the conversation and as soon as you hang up the phone, the bandwidth is re-allocated to your data needs. This is beneficial for customers who have an existing PBX that needs to be served; it allows you to use one provider for your internet and telephone service needs.
- Digital PRI's are designed for large businesses that need the ability to have 20+ concurrent calls. Often times, even if your company needs to have 20+ concurrent phone calls, a PRI will not make economical sense. Some phone systems require a PRI to properly use the system to its full capability. If you have an existing phone system, your RockyNet representative will discuss what type of interface you will need.
- Our Voice Messaging system was built with our customers' needs in mind. With the RockyNet system, you can retrieve your messages from anywhere in the world. Simply dial into our system, and enter your credentials. Or if you would prefer, we can send your messages to you via email as a .wav attachment.
